My Loft Conversion

Started this pesky job December 2000!

I'll probably still be at it in the summer!

Got the floor eventually laid

Only trouble with floors is they quickly get covered with junk!

Made a start on the plasterboard... Built some storage space... Started fabricating walls...

Any tips would be most welcome!

Now the middle of Feb 2001 making some progress.  Most of the front section is complete now. The roof apex is too small for me to stand upright in but ideal for Grant!
Even started on the lighting! and the power sockets!

Its now April 2001 !

I have just completed the plaster boarding on the rafters and have started building support straps for the brick wall at the far end
Fitted a bar of spotlights too so the lighting is complete:)
The wall above is now plasterboard as you can see on the left. Thing is do I leave the chimney breast in brick, or plaster it?

Doing the little fiddly bits now, like the covering up of the main power feed
Now the painting is done!

yep, blue! ... everything is BLUE!

The underlay is down and the carpet is ready to be laid, nearly done! and the louvre door is fitted.

  And Finally!

At long last the job is complete! on the 11th of June 2001 The bed had to be dismantled!
As did the pc table! the loft hatch is too small!
